For 39 years, businesses have invested in the life-changing programs of Community Access, one of the oldest and largest mental health and housing nonprofits in New York City.  Because of this support, Community Access has transformed the lives of thousands of New Yorkers most in need—by getting people off the streets, out of shelters, and into homes, jobs and volunteer service in the community.

Race for Our Community is an exciting addition to our fundraising calendar.

This highly publicized event provides a meaningful investment for sponsors:

  • Over 2,000 participants, from professional runners to aspiring athletes, families, pet lovers, and mental health consumers are expected to participate on race day.
  • City-wide promotional campaign will comprise MTA bus shelter and phone kiosk advertising, print ads, and promotional support by media partners.
  • Direct mail outreach to 70,000 homes will promote the event and recognize our lead sponsors to over 200,000 New Yorkers.
  • Post-race celebration will include award ceremony, sponsor presentations, vendor booths, and t-shirts and prize giveaways.
